At Responsive Health Management, we are committed to “Making Every Moment Matter™” by providing compassionate care for our residents. We are seeking a dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruitment efforts for two newly redeveloped long-term care homes.


About the Role:


Reporting to the Vice President of Health Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage high-volume hiring across multiple departments. This role will partner with the redevelopment team and the Home leadership to understand hiring needs, source top talent, and guide managers through the end-to-end recruitment process.


This position is remote/home-based, but we strongly encourage candidates located in Southwestern Ontario as they will be supporting homes in Belle River, Windsor, and Leamington. The selected candidate should have the ability to travel to our Homes/Communities in these locations as required and be available for meetings at the office/homes/communities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full recruitment process, from job postings to candidate selection and offers.
  • Meet recruitment milestones outlined in the HHR Redevelopment Strategy.
  • Translate workforce planning needs into strong candidate pipelines and successful hires.
  • Partner with Home/Community leadership to design and implement recruitment strategies.
  • Source top talent using job boards, educational institutions, social media, and community networks.
  • Leverage applicant tracking systems (ATS) for candidate evaluation and reporting.
  • Drive campus recruitment efforts and establish partnerships with schools.
  • Ensure hiring practices align with employment laws and collective agreements.
  • Represent and promote Responsive Health Management at job fairs and networking events.
  • Stay informed on the latest recruitment technologies and best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field.
  • 3+ years of high-volume recruitment experience in a fast-paced, unionized environment.
  • Working towards CHRP or CHRL designation (an asset).
  • Knowledge of employment laws related to hiring.
  • Experience in long-term care or healthcare (preferred).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ATS and HR software.
  • Experience with behavioral and cognitive assessments (e.g., Predictive Index).
  • Knowledge of foreign worker and immigration processes (an asset).
  • Ability to work remotely with travel as needed to Homes/Communities.
