Foot Care Nurse

Foot Care Practitioner requirements include:

(a) to provide at his or her expense all necessary supplies for the proper operation of the Foot Care service

(b) to provide written documentation of treatment administered on each resident’s chart as well as provide verbal feedback/instructions to the staff, residents and/or POA’s as required/requested;

(c) to ensure all equipment used meets professional and Facility’s infection control policies/standards

(d) to provide, maintain and keep in good standing licenses required to be maintained by the Foot Care Practitioner and/or its staff/subcontractors by any regulatory authorities and legal requirements;

(e) to carry adequate and appropriate professional liability insurance

(f) to maintain workmen’s compensation coverage as an independent contractor;

(g) to be present at the Facility a minimum of 8 hours every 5-6 weeks and arrange for a replacement Foot Care Practitioner while the Foot Care Practitioner is on vacation or during periods of illness
