We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Digital Engagement Specialist to join our team. As a Digital Engagement Specialist you will play a pivotal role in shaping our online presence, brand visibility, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, social media platforms, and content creation. 

This role is a hybrid position involving tasks carried out at various Retirement Communities, Support Office, and Personal Home Office

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with business goals
  • Build and define the digital playbook for the organization - inclusive of web and social media 
  • Enhance brand awareness, increase online presence, and foster community engagement
  • Leveraging digital channels to connect with our audience and drive meaningful engagement
  • Continuously monitor and analyze key performance metrics to assess the success of digital presence, make data-driven recommendations for improvement and create new approaches to be presented to senior leadership team 
  • Develop and implement digital engagement strategies across various platforms, including social media, email marketing, and other online channels.
  • Create and curate compelling content to engage our target audience and build a strong online community.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in brand messaging and alignment with overall marketing objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance digital engagement efforts.
  • Design and develop a diverse array of marketing materials
  • Create roadmap of digital experience and implement
  • Any and all other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

The qualifications needed to join our family are as follows:

  • Degree or Diploma in Marketing or related field
  • Experience as a Digital Engagement Specialist or similar role
  • CRM expertise is a must 
  • Sherpa/Aline specific experience is considered an asset 
  • Experience in the Retirement Living Sector considered an asset 
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • 3+ years of experience in roles involving analysis of quantitative and qualitative data in digital marketing, preferably within the Senior Living or Healthcare Industry
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, social media platforms, and content creation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content creation tools
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and develop innovative engagement strategies
  • Candidates must possess an Ontario Driver’s License and the ability to travel within Ontario
